OK, So I came out to my father.

Where's the toaster? Shouldn't there be a really good-looking UPS guy coming by with one?

And he won't be able to escape my Icon-ish charms...



I actually don't have a toaster...

or the UPS guy...

just getting caught up on lj again by the way - glad things went well with your dad ... hope they continue too ... just give him space and time ...

when i first came out to mine my mother freaked and dad was ok ... about 3 months later my first husband moved in and my father freaked and mother was ok .. today they're both ok ... although daddy does not talk about it ... we're closer than we probably were before ... but it took some time ... and i reached a point where i said this is me deal with it or else ... and was not sure for a while that the or else was not going to be where i wound up ... but i had to take that stand for myself ...

luck ;-) and i think i DO have an extra toaster around if that gets me a lower number by the way ...
