Atlanta has a puppetry museum with a Jim Henson area that they are expanding into a large exhibition, hopefully some time soon.

They had Kermit in a glass case at the Smithsonian. I'm not sure if it was strange or not, really. I think it was like seeing a celebrity, but you couldn't talk to them.
