Yep, the beard has been tamed. Really, it's a couple of days weeks overdue. While I'll miss being able to lift up the beard and be able to smell it (mmm, conditioner), I'm kind of happy to not glance down and see the coarse, bushy mess it became. There just wasn't a good way to control it, and it had the lovely Brillo Pad feeling that's such a hit with the boys. Still, there's one less thing to do with my fingers during the day. There's no more tangles to undo.

Sadly, it looks like the grey is here to stay.

I think the beard looked good longer, but it looks good trimmed also. Plus gray is good. Don't worry about that.

Your beard looks good. I rarely keep a beard growth,
but I find that since I've let my hair grow, I scratch
it and play with it a lot.

Yeah, let's just say that I won't be using "Just for Men" or any other hair coloring to get rid of the grey. Now you never know if I might so something silly, and go red - or orange as I did back in the mid 80's!
