Wow. I guess I ought to use this every once in a while.
I'm only doing this because I believe in the product. as many of you know, I love Sirius, and I have a radio in my car, and one in the house. Today and tomorrow, Sirius is offering a free trial of it's internet-only service. no radio to buy, just a computer with a sound card.
I know that Sirius is pushing Howard Stern, but really, I hardly ever listen to him. There's 68 commercial free music stations, from Broadway to Bluegrass and some talk political and not, on the internet stream (which also comes with a regular subscription). Yes, the Martha Stewart channel is on there, too. Strangely, the Canadian channels aren't.
Of course OutQ is one of the better reasons to check out Sirius. Right now LJ's own Larry Flick
lfkbear is on "OutQ in the Morning" and in the evening there's Derek and Romaine. On Thursday, LJ's own Alonso Duralde (
moroccomole) will be on the Derek and Romaine show in the 8:00ET hour (5:00PT).
So yes, you have to register, and yes, you might get an email now and again, so that's your choice, but give it a try and see if you like it. Personally, I love having Sirius, expecially on my commute to and from work. (oh, and Alex, Jeb or anyone else that's overseas, the trial is available worldwide)

I'll try to post something of substance soon.
