Hello, goodbye, and striking out
Mar. 13th, 2003 09:07 amHappy birthday to
nimbuscub! I'll have to catch you on chat soon.
Otherwise, Not much going on this morning. Stayed up too late again last night, talking. This of course, after the baseball draft. Didn't really get what I wanted this year, but still, some good players and a pretty balanced team. I kept getting blocked from the cute guys. I think the other folks are picking up on my likes, and grabbed up Gange, Bagwell and even Hampton before I could.
Still, I got Jason Kenadall, Kevin Millwood, and Rob Nen (when he has his goatee...woof!). Otherwise, I'm thinking that Ichiro, Vladimir Gurrerro, and Barry Zito will work out just fine.
We said goodbye to Sandee, who's already out the door at work, but she will continue playing fantasy basesball, since we play over Yahoo. It made me wonder how many others of our leauge will still be around once the season ends. Paul, goes for an interview today for Hewitt, up in the Woodlands. Jeff is going to apply for a job with another team at work, it's a higher position, and one he deserves.
Who will be the last man standing at season's end?
