It was bound to happen, driving back and forth so much. Last night I got a ticket, a few miles south of Corsicana, TX. The state trooper was tag-teaming with another officer, so I had slowed down when I saw the lights from the other officer, but I had already been tagged by his friend. So, I got a ticket for 80 in a 65 there.

I didn't really fight it. He caught me fair and square. I tend to go 80 on the interstate where there's no one really out there, especially when I'm doing the late night drive back home. I was caught around 11 p.m. I noticed the trooper (who wasn't cute) had a Texas Rangers baseball watch, and I thought about asking him about baseball, but he had already written out the ticket, and it was already late, so I thought, why make it even later?

I'll have to look into taking defensive driving. It's been a while, but I've gone to the comedy defensive driving and enjoyed it...maybe I'll do it again. Better than paying the whole thing. So much for going through 2003 unscathed.

To be honest, those are great shows. It's surprising that Bewitched isn't getting DVD treatment right now. We'll probably never see Misfits again, though, but heck, TV Land shows reruns of "Tabitha".

Yeah, I had it on. The troopers pulled a bit of bait and switch, lulling me in a false sense of security. One already had someone pulled over, and I thought he still had his radar on, and I didn't slow down in time. Oh well.

True. I didn't think it was that fast, either. It's not like there were a lot of people on the road. Still they set 65 as the limit, wouldn't want to lose all of that revenue, would they?

Sorry t hear about the ticket...but at the same time, you sure you don't wanna just pay it? A "driving class" costs, at least here, about as much as a ticket, usually. That's why I always paid...which I guess is why I had to take a class by coersion after so many tickets...never mind...
