A guy decided to climb the Williams Tower this morning. He gets about half-way up the 64 story tower - climbing with a bag of chalk, slips/lets go. We don't really know. Apparently he bit off more than he could chew.

He picked a good place to do it. Williams Tower is the tallest building in the US that's not in a downtown area. It sits lording over several 20 story and shorter buildings in Houston's Galleria area. Perfect for having TV helecopters hover around. Plus, it's directly across from the building where about a dozon of Houston's morning-time drive DJ's work.

He got his publicity.

It's hard to forget (It used to be known as the Transco Tower - with the Water Wall next to it).

Climber fall down and go boom.

I heard that his message said something about too many Law and Order shows on TV.

According to KTRK (channel 13), he jumped and there was a political message found in his pocket but it did not indicate some sort of suicide. weird.
