Very well done! There's one structural detail that bears mentioning (to me): You look at something that seems so simplistic... You start a first person essay in the second person; you're telling me how I look at something. Don't. :o)
That said, you're really getting better and better. You touch on all your key points and support them nicely. You're preaching to the choir, of course, but that's beside the point.
Additionally, in saying that you'd accept the dissolution of civil marriage, you're falling in step with me. And that's always a good thing.
