Today marks one year on LJ. Really, one full year when I decided to take a leap and join the community. I remember reading some of John's,

jtinstc, journal from a link on his site, Stocky Jock, which today has a picture of Ed,

suominorgebear, on the front page!

I guess last night's post was a result of my looking toward this anniversary. I had thought about writing that out for some time, and finally got around to doing it. The reconnection with Jim just came last month (we have email back and forth), but the story's been there for some time. I thought it was important to get out.

I'll probably say more later, but there's been a lot of growth, and there's been a lot of new friends. I found that I've met 70 of you over the last year! Thanks to everyone for being so great to me. It's been a wild ride so far.
