It's been One Year since you looked at me...

Today marks one year on LJ. Really, one full year when I decided to take a leap and join the community. I remember reading some of John's, jtinstc, journal from a link on his site, Stocky Jock, which today has a picture of Ed, suominorgebear, on the front page!

I guess last night's post was a result of my looking toward this anniversary. I had thought about writing that out for some time, and finally got around to doing it. The reconnection with Jim just came last month (we have email back and forth), but the story's been there for some time. I thought it was important to get out.

I'll probably say more later, but there's been a lot of growth, and there's been a lot of new friends. I found that I've met 70 of you over the last year! Thanks to everyone for being so great to me. It's been a wild ride so far.

You saw that too. It scared me when I saw myself on the internet. One year huh, Mine is coming up on Dec. 9th. Boy, have I changed since then. Gone from prude to on my way ;)

No need to take it off, I've been looking at the page counter now and then and apparently people like looking at it. It was just wierd seeing myself on different web page for the first time. ;)

To break into the conversation here, Yes, Ed is quite cute, and hopefully there will be more pics!

As for me, I'm officially in a relationship...another LJ'er, Chris. He's pretty wonderful. He's very good about letting me meet new people - (right Ed?) heh. It's a long distance thing, as he's in Dallas, so it makes it hard, and that's also making Houston a hard place to live in these days.

Well, duh! Yeah, there's lots of connections, but I'm just going to say three since that's the way it was first put to me. Half of the six degrees of separation.

But yeah, you alone...uh, well.
