He was the only reason I endured the movie. It was a good movie, but I didn't care for the screaming horses in full Dolby Surround...that and very uncomfy seats didn't help...
However, the sheer *ooomph* of Sean Astin was enough to make me sit in rapt attention. The whole scene at the end of LotR screamed love scene at me something terrible.

I'll take him without the beard...goatee yes, beard no, but that's my personal dislike of beards on most men coming through...
Goatees are good too! (takes a minute to imagine Sean with one) Mmm.
LotR is pretty good, and since Frodo and Sam spend more time together in part II - you may enjoy that as well. Doubt there will be a love scene, though.
