It doesn't matter "how many trips around the sun" you make... I feel birthdays should be made to be a big deal! Afterall, it's celebrating the anniversary of your life.
You forgot things like: beta video, tv's with dials & knobs that you had to move yourself, transistor radios, and telephones with dials to name a few. Don't feel bad about turning 39, at least you got to spend it with a hairy beast slobbering all over you.
Yeah, can we safely say that the VCR is dead now too? i know my mother still uses hers for the soaps, but really, does anyone still buy or rent VHS tapes?
The VCR isn't totally dead yet! It has just morphed into the combination VCR/DVD player. This is because people like my father have large collections of VHS tapes that they still want to watch.
