City Limits
Sep. 15th, 2004 11:46 pmI'm packing for Austin, and I'm trying to plan out the whole trip...times, places, people, the whole thing. I need to relax and let things be. I'll probably have a better time if I don't try to force expectations and schedules. So I miss a band...whatever. What I need to concentrate on is the people, as there will be great people there.
Even with that, I just spent 30 minutes in a close to girlish giggle fest for the "What bands do you think are cool - hee hee!!" question. ACL has a ton of bands that are not only spread out over hours, but are also double and triple stacked. You can see the schedule at http://www.aclfest.com/schedulegrids.html.

mattycub, schnitz_mi, murphy, xkot, jeffbear63, and non-attendees timbr35 and prowlerbear, will be fun, and I want to interrelate with them more than just "Hey, should we go to that stage", or "Hey, I have to go to the bathroom". I hope I break out of my shell and really get to spend time with these find folks.
*sigh* one more workday.
It's also chance for Chris and I to be together somewhere other than Houston and Dallas, and that's the most important thing of all. This is really why I'm looking forward to the festival.
