Following the Herd...
Feb. 5th, 2004 11:59 pmSchool and year you graduated: Conroe High - Class of 1985
Nickname in high school? The better ones came in college, but a few people tried calling me Garfield for a while.
Sport you were into? Well, Marching Band and Theater and Choir. There was a little movement in each.
Had a circle of friends? Yes...the Drama Weirdoes. That's what we called ourselves.
Best subject? Drama, English, Journalism.
Worst subject? Math. Forced my way through Algebra II.
A teacher you owe life lessons to? Our Drama Teacher, Becky Bell, and Ms. Ozment, who could make learning a lot of fun.
Describe in one word...
Freshman year: Getting to know you...
Sophomore year: I'm a Star
Junior year: Leading, following...
Senior year: The girlfriend year
Your best friend was? Jim. I wrote about him a while back.
Worst friend? Scott Levantino. Why was he a bully, and he irritated everyone with his "I'm an arrogant Yankee" crap.
Cafeteria food sucked? Yeah, except for square-pizza day. Usually I saved the money up and bought Videogame cartridges.
Wore uniforms? No, but the dress code was no shorts. It's hot most of the year!
How was the prom? I went to the senior prom with Leighza. I drove my parent's big shit brown Buick Century Wagon down to the Galleria, some 50 miles from home. We stood around most of the time, and she seemed to be none to thrilled to be there with me. It was the beginning of the end.
Who were the prom king and queen? Wasn't it bad enough that the prom song was "We've Got Tonight" the remake with Kenny Rogers and Sheena Easton. Ugh. Now you want me to remember the vapid people who were king and queen?
Were you popular? Certainly not. I was in some total geek circles. They were great people then, but i don't know a one of them now.
Best song that reminds you of high school? We Go Together from Grease - the last musical we did when I was in school.
