And now...The Rest of the Story.
John wasn't sure if he was goiung to go back home to Austin or stay here Sunday night. He actually got to attend the ritual, but then went to catch up with a friend from TSU - rather than join the rest of the group at the Olive Garden. I got a call later that he and the freind were somikng cigars out at an area lounge. I joined them around 12:30, and we left around 2:45am. John was too tired to drive back to Austin, but he would have to leave Houston early to hit his 10:30 class.
When we got back to my place, the close came off and into bed we dropped. We were both tired, and we just held each other for a while. We cuddled and I rubbed his back as he fell asleep. It was great. No expectations, just nice exploration - very sexy.
I awoke to the sound of the alarm and slowly worked on whispering to John that it was going to be time to go. Still, he made some time for more cuddling - and had a hard time getting out of bed. Still, he packed an left. Suddenly I was the horniest guy who had got some the other night on the planet. Luckily, I could also go back to sleep.
The anaylsis: I'm trying to let go a little bit and just enjoy the experience. I'm still dealing with a little bias on my part from what I percived as his hardass treatment of me when I was pledging the frat so many years ago. Being freinds is a new dynamic in this relation. Jeff noted that I slept with him the first night he pops up in my life - what a slut am I. Never the less, John seems to have some baggage of his own from some previous relationships, so i think he's just looking to have some fun and freindship - and apparently make up for a missed opportunity with me from the past (I'm flattered!). In the past, my instincs would have told me to run - and shut him out, but now...I'm working hard to be brave and take the chance for what it is, a pleasant experience. I think the cuddling was the best thing that happened all month.
I'm guessing the rest of the month will be far less adventurous.
