Yep. The one and the same. He's been out (as far as the radio audience) for a couple of years. I've heard some people mention he's made appearances at TMC and JR's in Dallas.
I listened to that show too - here in Houston. I'm surprised that you called the station "The Rocket" it was only that for a few months as they were going to get their asses sued by the basketball team...so they changed to "The Buzz" and has been so ever since.
