Stupid small-world moment; I went to college with a guy who claimed to have boffed the daughter of the man who wrote "Annie."
From what he told me, that poor girl (made to sing each and every iteration of the show and the music) would be first and foremost on the list of people who loathe it to its sickly-sweet core (and oh yeah, after all that time, she was considered too old to actually be IN the show when it went on real stage).
Heh heh heh...maybe that's one of the reasons Daddy got so peeved at you! LOL!
