I enjoyed this post a lot! I am often asked for my opinions on a number of topics ...even signed up for regular pollings just to earn e-miles:) I receive two or three offers a week to earn these points ...Ironically, I am usually tossed out of the mix after a couple of questions ... It makes you wonder who is sponsoring the polls, as it usually has to do with my politics when I'm disqualified:)
I don't often think of myself as a Texan, though I grew up here from the age of 12 on, went to Secondary school and college in the state. I identify with Houston even less. Because of some terrible things that happened to me in the early 90s, I actively dislike the city and have no respect for its leaders (well, except for Bill White and Kathy Whitmire).
I am part of the investor class ... and I have Wal-Mart stock ... a double whammy. In light of Wal-Mart's recent cave-in to the Christian wrong, I plan to divest myself of that stock in the near future. As to newspapers, I read The Seattle Times online or USA Today, the latter a habit from the road, developed when I was in Europe.
I am an Earthling:)
