For whatever reason, I thought of you as events unfolded...original reports said that it happened over Houston. After the Challenger disaster, the shuttle program was paralyzed for years; the quest for exploration and knowledge is being replaced by budget and profit. The net and all of it's elements would probably not exist today if it were not for the technology developed during the early days of the space race.
