I guess I'm disappointed in the fact that there are gay producers, directors, writers, actors...of the shows and actors I listed, only two are gay. I applaud TV for putting gay characters on the air, it's just that I can't recall a network situation were you see long term relationships or love between gay men; it does happen! I'd love it if mainstream America could see that side of gay life...imagine that, a couple in love who just happen to be gay. Imagine if TV portrayed gays of all shapes, sizes, cultures and colors. But then, it's only "entertainment."
