Really? I'm sure they have a performance there. I've done it for many years- something like 12 years, but this year and last I was just a spectator. My playing skills have eroded. There's a lot of middle and high school kids there, brought by their band teachers. In good weather we get 350-400 people. I think there was over 200 this year, and the building wouldn't let them play inside due to the inclement weather.

I know many cities have a performance, and I think Houston's second or third in attendance.

hmmm.. one of these years i need to see all the tubas... hopefully outside though. although.. how were the acoustics in the parking garage?

It's better to watch when it's on the Williams Tower lawn, but it actually sounded pretty good in the garage.
