Three is a Magic Number
Nov. 6th, 2005 11:57 pmToday marks the 3rd anniversary of this Journal.
I guess I celebrated by going out to several car lots to see what they had. Sunday is the best day to go, since Texas still holds onto one Blue Law, and the dealerships are closed. I still have some thinking and some research to do on this.
I also had my usual Sunday dinner with my paerents. They wanted to go to Red Lobster. I don't know what it is, but it seems like it's all fried foods. It's not like I don't eat a lot of fried foods, but something about Red Lobster's variety just makes my stomach turn later in the evening...oh say about now.
Still i think about all of the connections and friendships I've made due to this forum. I'm very greatful for them. I would have much rather been with some of you folks this weekend, but that's the way it goes.
You all entertain me, and I hope that I've entertained, enlightened or at least given you something to argue about sometime. It's a journal and a chance to write better, where sometimes it's a crap shoot. Occasionally my satire doesn't work, or my thought wanders where I could have been more consice. It's still an experament, isn't it? Just like everyday life. you never know wheather your going to get it right or wrong.
Thanks for writing, thanks for reading. Send pepto and naked pics, OK?

Date: 2005-11-08 02:05 pm (UTC)It's still a legacy of the old Blue Laws, which changed just before I went to work in retail, which unfortunately meant I didn't get paid extra for working Sundays like the older workers did.
