Mountain High, Valley Low
Jan. 17th, 2005 11:26 pmHome again. Missing the mountains, The sun, and the bears, not necessarily in that order. I've been back in my flat, humid, city for a few hours, already having to run to the store and pay bills and get back into those stupid "regular life" routines that make you depressed and wishing to go back to the next Fiesta.
Lots to cover, but I'm having to check into the damage TSA did to my bag. They may have gotten a bit of a chuckle out of mine but surely there were other bears that could have scared the screeners much, much more.
I saw so many of my friends leave the hotel before me, and then a few of them leave the airport before my little tiny Embraer Jet took of this afternoon taking me off into the dusky sky. The close-knit world of friends that we had made dissipating again just as quickly as we had come together.
More later, there's much to cover and recall, but now, there's a need to recover. Tomorrow, work. Associates beware.
But for now, don't speak, I just want to enjoy this moment. :-)
