I should be in bed by now, but I thought I'd bother everyone one more time. (Oh Yeah, Tim McGraw's on TV - another person in denial about his thinning hair! That's it! More Hats!)

Tomorrow's a busy day. I need to drop by the office, I'm going to finally see The Two Towers with Matt and Lisa, and then, I'm hosting Hans' bachelor party.

Hans get's married in a week to his lovely Bride, Naima. I get to play Best Man once again. I'm always proud and happy to do it, but I always seem to have trouble with the bachelor party. This time, Hans gave me some help by having me work with Gustavo - another groomsman - also a friend from college, also a Fraternity brother. I chose where we'll eat, and a bar that we'll go to, Gus gets to choose what titty bar we'll end up at by night's end. (I purposly made it where people could have a good time, and wouldn't have to go to the "gentleman's club" if they didn't want to) I will be at the whole thing - responsible guy that I am, I'll be the designated driver.

That does mean that I'll be sober in the titty bar. Hooray. I've been in a few before. the drinks are increadbly overpriced, and I usually go to find where the TV with ESPN is at. (If I'm in luck, they'll be showing World's Strongest Man). Otherwise, it's the people watching as guys make themselves into quivering lumps of Jello that's funny. The girls do know what power they have in there.

I sadly know much more about the straight life than I know about the Gay community. This is changing.

Hans is a cute little bear. I'll have to find a picture, but he's taken (and he's a virgin too, for another week). I wish him all of the happiness in the world - and a good time tomorrow.

I don't think we'll have a goat, or Tom Hanks, either.

So I saw the movie and it is in-cred-i-ble! I loved it. All of those History Channel specials about medieval warfare came into play. Matt and Lisa enjoyed it, but I don't think they got as much out of it. I was just enthralled by the grandure of it all.

As I drove them back to my place, we talked about the movie trailers - which all seemed to be Summer movies. Is nothing good about the movies of the next few moths? Then we started discussing the movie itself. We talked about New Zealand and Gollum and the production. Then I said:

"Couldn't you see it in his eyes? Sam, just damn well KISS HIM!"

Needless to say, the car fell silent.

Really, since I live in a world where men can fall in love, date and even marry, this isn't an abnormal reaction to the closeness of these two characters, Frodo and Sam, right? Yes, I know it's not written that way and I am putting some of my interest in Sean Astin in the mix.

Matt and Lisa know the score, but now I'm wondering. What happens when I introduce a boyfriend to them? are they just going to freak? They are so sheltered by their church and community.

Just an observation - I'm not worried about it.
