Fozzie Bear and Co.
Dec. 1st, 2002 04:03 pmI just watched the Muppets new Christmas Special that was on NBC the other night. Pretty cute. I've always liked the Muppets.
It's your standard take on "It's a Wonderful Life". No one can really think of anything new, right? But they always seem to put a nice human touch on the story, and throw in some pop culture references here and there.
They do a nice spoof on Moulon Rouge, and there's a really touching song from Gonzo about feeling on the outside and invisible ...made me think.
Surprisingly, there's some gay moments too. Fozzie runs into a bath house and three large guys run out. Scooter dances in a cage with a vinyl outfit, and Moulon Rouge itself.
I may order the DVD.
