Snowy Thoughts

Tis Christmas Eve here in Dallas, and things are very quiet. In fact, Chris is asleep in bed right now. I'm going to have to wake him soon because I'm hungry.

The trip up wasn't bad as the roadways were crowded, but the ice and snow decided to stay away. There's still some remnants of snow here, and since it will be below freezing most of the day, it should stick around. It's certainly nothing like what they have up north, but it's different for us Texans. There was more snow last February here, than there is right now.

The sun is shining today, and there's not a cloud up there. From what I'm hearing, Houston's getting a little bit of snow today, but you there in Ohio would laugh. Still, as I was leaving town yesterday, all people were talking about were road conditions and being able to drive.

Houston's forecast for tuesday is 70 degrees. This is why I don't have any sweaters.

It's actually really nice out here... Very little wind, tiny bit of snow (like a few flakes, hehe).. I love this weather. :) (One of the reasons why my parents call me a yankee, hehe. ;)

Cool that there's some, if little, winter precip
falling. My peeps back in Little Rock got 5.5"
of the stuff but it'll melt before the end of the
day.

As for Phoenix, it's forecast to be
a wonderful 65° on Saturday.
