Most of the time, I'm with you. It's television comedy, and it's played in a very broad manner. Still, since this show comes from two gay producers, and I'm sure there are gay writers on staff, I think they could have done better for that character. By forcing him to comply with a stereotype, it just reinforces the stereotype. True, several other shows play the same thing, and there's the whole Lifetime network.

Maybe my expectations are set a little high for this. Friends or ER don't have a similar impact to my life, and what I'm thinking. True, I don't look to them for sterling examples of straight life.
