Four almost unrelated thoughts
Thought 1: If some group of fools would actually open a car repair shop that stayed open later than 7:00pm, they would so have my money now. Unfortunately, they don't, and I've been on a wild goose chase trying to get my brake pads changed out. (Although I have changed brake pads before, I'm not doing it in the apartment parking lot.)
This means I will have to get up early and have it done at the crack of dawn, hoping that i can have it completed before I have to go to work. Grr.
Thought 2: Why do tele-evangelists do it? Sure there's some monetary reward for tricking the gullible, but still, when most of you have your baser instincts, they tend to find it's way to the top, and then you're screwed (both literally and figuratively).
Thought 3: I am so flirting with the cute cub that the data provider sent to try to help us with the new programs. Damn he's hot. He's also clueless and of no help to us at all. I taught him something about one of the programs he's been using for two years. This is not good.
Still, he's great eye candy, so I tried to flag (Kevin) down every time one of my reps had a problem. He never helped them, but still. *grin* We got talking about sports, which I'm perfectly fluent in. He could name backup basketball players on the Houston Rockets by name, so I think he's straight. His loss.
Thought 4: The only place it isn't snowing in this state seems to be Houston (and I guess Beaumont, but who cares). The Dallasites are all screaming about the driving conditions. *grins again* I guess it's good that it isn't snowing here. I need the brakes worked on!

Thought #2: To quote from Wall Street (the movie): "Greed is good."
Thought #3: You should have asked him out for a beer after work. At best you find out he's on our team, and at worse, you have an enjoyable evening out talking sports with a hot guy...
Thought #4: Hahahahahahahahahaha...why is it that most of northern Arkansas and Southern Missouri have had more snow than we have in St. Cloud Minnesota?! What's wrong with that?

2. Yes, but duping money out of people who are just trying to be pious is just wrong when you're whoring around with the cash (this was brought on by a memory of Jimmy Swaggert's "I have siiiiiiined against You *sob*" speech).
3. Considering that move. we were already talking about seeing a Rockets game, but they are out of town. Sports bar.
4. What's snow? :-)

I am not sure about there, but Sears Automotive shops are usually open til 9pm M-Sat. I usually take my car to them for brake work and haven't had any problems what so ever...
Just a thought...
