Well it is an episode of local news here in Texas. The state tried to put all of the children of a West Texas Polygamist sect in foster care, and really didn't have the case nailed down to show the kids were being harmed. It's quite the expensive mess and all from the evangelicals in state government trying to regulate other groups in the state.

Not my family at all. I have a small family, where everyone had only two kids and had the correct number of wives and husbands. I'm just joking about the West Texas Polygamist Ranch where the kids were taken away from the mothers, and the State of Texas got it's hand slapped for trying to regulate non-traditional families. Sure, there might have been some underage hany-pany going on, but the state screwed up the case!
