Lunch Time = Poll Time

Today is a jeans day at work. These are few and far between. I'm happy, because my "thin jeans" are fitting very well today, thank you.

There's a dilemma on the horizon, though. Tonight's Houston weather is cloudy, rain and temps near or at freezing. I am out of underwear and need to do laundry, but the laundry room is several yards away from the apartment. Here's where you can help:

the dyes used in clothing makes me break out, so i almost always wash stuff before i wear it anyways. but shopping for underwear is always fun! i vote for something racy.

Yeah, wearing underwear out of the package is inviting trouble.

I'm pretty simple. Boxers or boxer breifs.

thongs baby!

*ahem*

Be brave. And don't visit up here till July or so-- our current temp is about 5, on its way up to a balmy 10 degrees.

We Houstonians are wimps to cold weather. No doubt about it.

What's a snow chain? :-)

ha!

I've seldom seen 'em, actually, except when I was in washington state.

Yes, Houston hasn't seen snow (except for flurries) since 1989, and it hasn't been under 25 degrees this year. It's really decent. But it gets under 60 and people get out the coats and gloves here.

Now, when we have ice, like we might tonight, the freeways become a total comic nightmare.

*nod* Snow and ice panicked the Seattle folk too. Apparently they have a dearth of salt trucks.

Ahh, but we can take the heat!

The cold should be an excuse to snuggle, if just to take care of that color problem!

mmmm....undies

[identity profile] ilorsodirettore.livejournal.com 2003-02-06 12:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I would buy the undies, but then, I have bought new undies just because I didn't WANT to do laundry.

But if you do go buy the undies, I think you need to get a someone to go with you, someone you can model them for who can give you a good opinion of how you look in them. Yeah...that's what you need to do...

Unfortunately, I have a show to do tonight, so that someone can't be me, dammit. Oh, well...

Why isn't freeballing an option? ;)

I think you should go get new ones and then model them for us. If you wash the other ones, they'll just get jucky on the way back home anyway.

[identity profile] eggwards.livejournal.com 2003-02-06 03:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Never been a fan of freeballing. Just not me. I did make the change to boxers from briefs a while back, and that's better, and a little looser.

Modeling? Moi? I'll have to think about that. I'm a rather modest bear. :-)

I've tried briefs, boxers, and boxer briefs and prefer boxer briefs the most with boxers after that.

uh

freeballing is the way to go ... wearing boxers - you might as well be freeballing ;-) or at least that was always MY opinion :-) i'm a briefs man myself - but only to work - the rest of the time it's nada ...

and just for the record i HATE the heat ... almost as much as i HATE the cold ... give me 75 degree days every day forever ;-) i hear that's san diego

There's nothing like free balling! Just be careful when you sit...and it is really embarrassing when you split your pants at work; therefore, buy more underwear. If you buy new underwear, you have to go out in the cold rainy weather anyway, but you can never have too much underwear. Fewer emergency trips to do laundry...and if you buy something fun/sexy, you'll be getting ready for TBRU.
