Masking

The mask on my CPAP broke last night. This wouldn't have been a problem if he replacement mask - the one for some stubborn reason I hadn't actually used, even though I've had it for two weeks, actually connected to the tube, but it doesn't. So, there I was, sometime after midnight, where I was already strangely more tired than normal, trying to tape together bits of plastic.

With masking tape. Oh the irony.

Needless to say it didn't really work, and I was woken up a few different items, and ended up having to throw off the mask's parts sometime early this morning. I groggily woke up about ten minutes later than normal, and as i started the regular routine, i found myself pulling masking tape out of my beard. Not fun.

So now, I have to figure out what to do, and where to get the needed part for the new mask. Unfortunately the shop I've purchased the mask from is off in Tomball - not an easy drive, and close to nothing. It's an extra hour to get there. This could be a lot of fun

My reps better not get on my bad side today.

Speaking of bad side, Worlds of Warcraft gets my evil eye too. Chris suggested I download the beta of the game, and we could play together since they had a Mac version. So after having to go through a long procedure of figuring out how to open up the firewall (I'm one of those Mac owners who own one because he doesn't know all of that geeky stuff), so after 18 hours of downloading, and two and a half gigabytes of disk space, I finally can go in to register!

Than I'm greeted with the message that so many people have registered, that they aren't taking any more. Bastards.

So people who could download this faster than us poor Mac users could get to this thing, I suppose, but since they used a torrent system, and there were fewer Mac users to pull from, we got shafted. Nice.

Well, I'm not much of a gamer, anyway. I still have a copy of The Sims on my desk that hasn't even made it into my computer, and I've had it for more than a year. It's just not something I do, really. Still, it would have been nice to have another thing to do with Chris across the miles.

Mmmm, Tomball. If you need to blow off some steam you could go do some donuts on my grandpa's lawn while you're there. >:)

Hey. There is a medical supply place over on Holcomb near Kirby that sells the CPAP machines and the maskes. I will call mom and find out the name of the place and if you give me a call I can give it to you! :) they are much closer than Tomball! :)

Well the place where she bought her was called Horizon medical supply ( http://www.horizonmedeqpt.com )
But I just called them and they said that they don't carry them? Which is weird because that is where we bought them. But when I did a search for the company name I got some things back on the search that looks like they got in trouble for doctoring medical records to steal money! :) So they might be under new ownership. They suggested giving Snappy Medical Supply a call they are out on Gessner and 10, area... close to you! :) I could not find thier number :) LOL
