Alright! We just got back from the Barenaked Ladies show in Dallas - and Chris and I are very tired. The show totally rocked and we met all of the band members after the show. They were very nice and friendly.

Chris (oakleycub) and I found a great new use for the new phone posts that LJ lets you make, and damnit if I hadn't set my PIN up yet. We think think that the whole celebrity phone post will become the next LJ rage.

Also, yes, the band looks really good, but man, roadie Vern was way too hot. Yummy!

You know everything's going to be alright, I think it's going to be alright. Everybody will be alright, when we go shopping (it's always lalalala la la la!)

Yeah! We waited at the back of the venue and stood around, and the Tour Manager said, "I'd like everyone to line up single file, Ed will be coming out in a minute." Laura, Chris and I were at the very end of the line, but one by one, Ed, Jim, Kevin, Steve, and finally Tyler came out, signed, shook hands and took pictures with everyone in line. Chris and I came up with the idea to get Steve to do the post, and he was so nice about it, even after we told him about Buzz (buzzwords) who just about creams his pants when he thinks about Steven Page.

It was really cool, and they were very nice, chatting and answering questions from us.

Steve just kind of had this look of, uh, ok when we told him about you. I think we kind of ambushed him about the post, but he was such a good sport about it. The whole band was nice, and for most of them, we talked about playing with the band, or how they like playing live. I'm sure most of them had heard the questions before. Except for Jim, I kept thinking, these guys are shorter than I thought. (and that Steve has lost weight) My favorite song goes somewhere between Shopping and Intermittently, which was a special treat. War on Drugs was very moving as well.

I think that Chris and I are pretty proud that we really did something new with live journal, and we were happy that we could involve you since we knew that you would enjoy it.

This means that you will spend a little extra time with Chris and I when you come down for TBRU, right?

i've always thought that those guys seemed really down to earth and genuine. it's good to hear that it is actually the case! i gotta agree with buzzwords too, i think stephen page is quite sexy!

I like Steve, but I find Tyler much more sexy...I'm not sure why. They were genuine, and answered a lot of questions down the line. They were more than accommodating. I've never had a celebrity be so nice!

i think it's b/c they're canadian...canadian celebrities seem much more down-to-earth than american ones.

Isn't that the truth. I'm looking forward to returning to Dallas right this minute. Of course I want to get back to Chicago sometime soon, too.

I know! I'm still star-struck about the whole thing. They are very down to earth and nice. My favorite band in the world.
